A partnership with The City of Waco Parks and Recreation Department

Adopt-A-Park Program

Adopt-A-Park is a free civic engagement opportunity where we provide you and your group with the supplies necessary to make a difference at our city parks.

Anyone can adopt a park: Companies, civic organizations, church groups, businesses, and families/individuals.

This partnership is possible thanks to City of Waco Solid Waste and City of Waco Parks and Recreation.

Adopt-A-Park is creating a more vibrant Waco.

In 2023, we set out to get all of our 39 parks adopted. We ended the year with all parks adopted and 17,295 volunteer hours. This contributed $550,153 of economic value alone!

Parks are available on a first-come-first served basis. Learn more below on how to inquire about available parks.
