Parking: Participants can park at Brazos Park East located at 3516 N M.L.K. Jr Blvd
What to wear: Comfortable clothes that you don’t mind if water gets on it. Litter grabbing can be a bit dirty, so please don’t wear your ballgowns.
What to bring: Water, sunscreen, a hat/sunglasses, snacks, anything you want to eat if you have food restrictions. Lunch is provided from Dog Haus, so please be prepared on your end if you have food restrictions!
What the cleanup will look like: We are focusing along the shoreline of the Brazos River, being able to walk, hold a litter grabber/trash bag and bending over may be required. If we are able to safely launch kayaks we will have kayaks available, with a limited amount of kayaks and stand up paddle boards. ALL volunteers are required to wear safety vests at all times if they are on a watercraft.
