Through consistent philanthropic support, Green Ambassadors provide the resource and funding necessary to propel our core initiatives forward. From neighborhood cleanups to sustainable education programs and beautification; together, we are making Waco a beautiful place to live.

With the support of Green Ambassadors, Keep Waco Beautiful has launched and sustained programs for over 45 years in Waco, Texas. A few of our special programs include:
The Waco Green Business Alliance: A free program educating and empowering businesses to operate sustainably. We help educate and guide businesses and industrial groups and sustainable resources in the city, and reward them with community events, highlights, and collaboration.
Green Schools initiative: Modeled after the Green Business Alliance, Green Schools is educating and empowering youth to be the green leaders for tomorrow. We provide educational materials, workshops, and incentives for schools to lead in the community. COMING IN 2025!
Adopt-A-Programs: Adopt-A-Park and Adopt-A-Spot are all FREE programs engaging the community to take ownership of local spaces. We provide all the tools necessary to hold year-round cleanups to keep their adopted areas clean and beautiful.
Creating Green Neighborhoods: By strategically collaborating with our neighbors we believe we can transform Waco’s beauty together. This program alone has received $25,000 in grant funding in less than 2 years which all went back to Waco to create beautiful placemaking. Our 2025 project is funded by Keep Texas Beautiful & HEB, see more information here!
