Join us for our second annual FREE WATERFEST! A STEAM/STEM festival, river cleanup and water testing!
River cleanup and water testing will be held from 9am-11am, to signup and volunteer visit the link here.
Family-friendly WaterFEST kicks off at 12pm-3pm. All held at Indian Spring Park in Downtown Waco!

World Water Day is a day to engage communities together for water-related education, fostering a sense of collective responsibility on the global water crisis. In conjunction with this global observance, we are partnering with City of Waco Watershed Protection, Baylor University Office of Sustainability, Baylor University Center for Reservoir Aquatic Systems Research, City of Waco Wetlands, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and many others.
9am-11am: kick off our event with a river cleanup and water testing on The Brazos River. Registration is required to volunteer for this portion of the event!
12pm-3pm: WaterFEST! A STEAM/STEM hands-on activities surrounding the importance of access to clean water. This portion is FREE and family-friendly for all ages.

WATERFEST ACTIVITIES
WaterFEST will explore all the unique ways our local waterways has an impact on our larger ecosystem. WaterFEST activities will offer hands-on learning for all ages. Learn about:

This event is kicking off for Trash Free Brazos, part of a state-wide campaign with The Gulf of Mexico Trust, a nonprofit activating Texas communities to hold impactful river cleanups. This spring campaign lasts from March-May for Waco, providing targeted river cleanups to protect our valuable Texas waterways. Learn more about the Trash Free Brazos and upcoming activities!
This event is also part of the Greatest American Cleanup with Keep America Beautiful, for America’s 250th birthday!
